We are a busy four-doctor practice, seeking to add a new associate equine veterinarian to our team. Columbia Equine is a general equine practice that enjoys offering exceptionalcare to our varied discipline clientele on both an ambulatory and inpatient basis, with roughly 60% of the caseload ambulatory and 40% in-clinic. One of the only clinics in the greater metro area with the ability to hospitalize patients, our full-service hospital is complete with three treatment areas, a surgery suite, nine stalls and an indoor arena. Our equipment includes: digital radiography machines, ultrasound units, shockwave unit, power dental floats and in-house laboratory. We are able to offer surgical services on a non-emergency basis through our visitingboard-certified surgeon, and we pride ourselves in offering advanced dentistry services as well.
Continuing education, a team atmosphere and work/life harmony are prioritized here, with a four day workweek and an equally shared emergency rotation. We strive to maintain a collaborative clinic culture with open communication among doctors and staff.
Our practice is located near Mt Hood and the Columbia River Gorge and is just a short drive from both the Oregon Coast and Downtown Portland.
