Relief DVM to fill-in for one of our Dr's while on maternity leave mid-May through August 2026.
The schedule is negotiable, but could potentially look like:
Mon 11-7
Wed 8-4 or 11-7
Thurs 8-4
Fri 8-4, 11-7 (alternating)
one Sat/month 8-2 (often out around 12 depending on urgent care cases)
-We are looking for someone who loves what they do, then you will fit in great with our team! We are a small animal practice with an awesome support staff. Our full time Dr's enjoy most of their work weeks being around 32 hours.
-Many of our Dr' are internship-trained for those looking for mentorship. We have mentored new grads.
-Could potentially turn into a long term position for the right person!
We are a 6 Dr small animal practice, privately owned, in Littleton CO. We have a very supportive team with highly qualified, certified technicians. We also have highly qualified assistants to assist the Dr's in exam rooms. We have a close relationship with our local humane society, allowing our Dr's to also practice a little shelter medicine if desired. We have some fun technology such as an in-house lab, ultrasounds and echos in-house with the assistance of telemedicine, voyoant vessel sealer for OHEs - to name a few. We also have a large boarding kennel, which allows our staff to bring their dogs to work for daycare if they so choose. We are very proud of being locally owned, and our staff practices like healthcare professionals, not sales people. Our work culture is awesome, with a heavy emphasis on team work and not "over-working:. We all love what we do and we are looking for others who feel the same! We are currently undergoing renovations for a new building for our hospital.
