The Pet Doctor, in Lakewood, WA is an intimate, family-oriented practice. We take great pride in the bond we form with each team member. Our employee tenure averages at 13 years!  While we are proud of our commitment to our team members, we are also working to understand how we can best serve the growing needs in the veterinary community!

• Regular and consistent work schedules. This allows you the ability to plan your life outside of work first and know what your work commitments are second.   We are currently closed on Sundays and major Holidays for team members to have dedicated self-care and family time.
• Flexibility for your time off needs. We know life is dynamic and we strive to roll with the punches right along with you!
• Individually tailored mentorship.  We’ll share a few of our best practices that we think every employee can benefit from but also consider your input and create plans for achievement! Our mentorship isn’t one size fits all, but it does include weekly scheduled one-on-one meetings with our medical director as part of your regular workday.  This is a great time to review cases, ask questions, or just enjoy a break.
• Graduated scheduling.  Each pet appointment is special, and we want to ensure you achieve a great bond with each pet. 
• The support of experienced and licensed support staff.  Our existing team members are PHENOMENAL, and we are looking to grow to ensure you are supported to do your important work.
• A complimentary in-house snack cart for our team members!  Have a seasonal favorite?  Let us know and we’ll add it to the snack cart!
