Responsibilities
Primary duties of the faculty member are teaching assigned courses offered by the Veterinary Science Technology Department as part of the A.A.S. and B.S. degree programs. Teaching responsibilities may include traditional classroom lecture, laboratory instruction, and on-line coursework. Additional duties include veterinary care and husbandry for college and visiting animals, student advisement, curriculum development, and participation in department and college functions and committee work. This is a full-time tenure track position with an academic year obligation (10 months) beginning January 1, 2024.

Requirements:
DVM degree and be eligible to be licensed to practice Veterinary Medicine in New York within 6 months of employment
Minimum 3 years of applicable clinical or teaching experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills; strong attention to detail; and computer skills
Enthusiasm for teaching undergraduate veterinary technology students is of the utmost importance.
Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in related field
Teaching experience (preferably at the college level)
