We are a fun, family-oriented group looking for a fourth ambulatory veterinarian to join our practice. We work collaboratively to provide the best level of care for our patients and support the local equine community. If enjoying your days at work and having a personal life is what you are after, we may be the perfect fit for you.
For both the seasoned vet or a new grad, we offer a large variety of clientele, servicing both the nearby race track and the pleasure horses in our area. With a structured mentorship program, you can quickly learn the skills needed to succeed in any discipline. High volume at the track means that lameness, joint work, endoscopy, gastroscopy and rehabilitation skills are quickly developed.
We boast of four day work weeks, shared on-call and a dedicated technician during normal hours. The clinic provides digital imaging, dental floats, pro-stride, shockwave and more. Interest in chiropractic work, large animal or even small animal medicine can be accommodated and are even encouraged. Benefits include emergency fees, partially paid maternity leave, health care and relocation assistance.
We are a well-established and rapidly growing equine and small animal practice located 20 miles south of Pittsburgh and serving Washington County, Allegheny County and surrounding areas. Our practice currently sees 60% equine and 40% small animal clients, with three equine associates and 2 small animal associates. We do not have a haul-in facility and our coverage area is about 20 miles. Located just minutes away from the Meadows Racetrack, we service a large number of Standardbreds within our practice along with mixed discipline pleasure horses. We aim to provide a high-level of medicine while providing a positive work environment.
