Evaluate patients, establish treatment plans, supervise, and assist the teams and carry out treatments, and diagnostics for emergency cases for all species
Work closely with Veterinary specialties, including Critical Care, Surgery, Internal Medicine, Oncology, Ophthalmology, Cardiology, Neurology and Dentistry.
Perform and supervise emergency procedures, including surgery
Work with a team of Veterinary Assistants, Technicians and other Veterinarians
Teach and improve the quality of the care provided by all personnel at our hospital
Provide recommendations on the purchase and maintenance of equipment to the Manager of the Emergency Veterinary team
Implement tools and processes for proving care and communicating with clients.
Work a variety of shifts, including Overnights and weekends on a rotating schedule
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent
Fluency in English is required. Individuals with bilingual language skills (French and English) are encouraged to apply.
Hold or be eligible to obtain a license to practice veterinary medicine in the province of Ontario (Canada) issued by the College of Veterinarians of Ontario.
