Practice Overview
Boston Road Animal Clinic is a full-service veterinary hospital, including a pharmacy, a surgical suite, on-site x-ray capabilities, and Idexx laboratory equipment including Sedivue, Procyte, and the Catalyst. We are a small animal practice that provides care for dogs and cats currently.  There is infinite possibility to expand on services and create a niche in things like surgery or exotics.  Our team is a tight-knit group who thrives in a team like environment. We collaborate, support, and cheer each other on to the finish line. We understand that in veterinary medicine there are different avenues and passions, therefore we encourage our team to follow their passions and explore and implement new procedures and techniques. What You’ll Be Working On
 Build and maintain client relationships
 Diagnose, treat and manage a variety of mixed animal cases
 Perform small animal surgeries 
 Maintain a positive and supportive work environment
 Guide and utilize exceptional support staff

1. Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from an accredited program required
2. Be licensed or able to be licensed in the state of Kentucky
3. A minimum of one year of experience working in small animal internal medicine required
4.  A minimum of one year of experience working in general practice and surgery required.  
5.  Flexible with schedule - must be available to work rotating shifts
6.  Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and continuous learning
7.  Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity
8.  Strong communication skills
9.  Positive team player who motivates staff with encouragement
10.  Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail

About Boston Road Animal Clinic

Boston Road Animal Clinic is a family-owned small animal practice in Lexington, KY. Open since 1992, Boston Road Animal Clinic is now under new ownership, but still has the same family oriented values. Our goal is to provide top notch medical care for the pets in the South Lexington area. We have digital radiography, in house blood and urine analyzers and basic dental equipment. We have a very team oriented group of employees and we are looking for the perfect DVM addition to our team.
