Located in Ruidoso Downs, New Mexico lies a veterinary practice like no other. Franklin Veterinary Clinic is a  mixed animal veterinary Clinic, where a diverse range of patients is welcomed with open arms. From reptiles to cattle, equine to avians, and all the beloved household pets, our dedicated team has seen it all.

Dr. Franklin, along with 2 associate DVMS, take pride in providing comprehensive care to all patients. We have both a large and small animal facility, and serve as a referral hospital for both Equine and Small Animal emergencies, with services that include colic surgery, orthopedics for both large and small animals, arthroscopy, and reproductive procedures in addition to routine preventative care.

 In our small animal department, we have digital x-ray capabilities, a full in-house laboratory, a dental machine, laser therapy, and ultrasound. For our large animal patients, we provide advanced services such as ultrasound, digital x-ray, dental machines, arthroscopy, endoscopy, laser therapy, and even an equine surgical facility. With two mobile veterinary units at our disposal, we can conveniently serve animals requiring on-site care.
