Show Low is a southwestern, mid-elevation mountain community that enjoys 4 distinct seasons, cool summers, and white winters. It's a great place to raise a family with wonderful schools, many job opportunities and plenty of outdoor recreational activities. The area is famous for its world class hunting and fishing opportunities, and includes scenic mountain biking, hiking, skiing, and kayaking. We are also conveniently located less than 3 hours from Tucson, Phoenix, and Flagstaff.
Since 1996, we have stayed true to our mission of providing quality medicine in a compassionate environment. We are now seeking an enthusiastic and caring Associate Veterinarian, motivated to care for pets and clients, and willing to embrace our mission just as much as we do! We currently have 3 full-time veterinarians and our facility includes: six exam rooms, a comfort room, a dedicated dental suite, brand new well-equipped surgical suite, endoscopy, comprehensive diagnostic in-house lab, digital and dental radiology, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, computerized workstations throughout the hospital, and paper light record keeping.
By joining our team, you will receive:
Signing bonus and/or relocation assistance, up to $40,000 (commensurate with experience)
ProSal compensation (base salary $90,000 - $110,000) with 20-21% production
At Blue River, we focus on the health and well-being of our clinical team members as much as we do the animals they treat. License to practice veterinary medicine (or ability to obtain) in the state of Arizona.
Blue River PetCare's mission is to provide a long-term home for local practices that selling owners have worked so hard to build. We are dedicated to retaining the culture of each of our hospitals in addition to the local practice of medicine. We do this by ensuring each hospital has complete medical autonomy with their choice of protocols, therapies, inventory items, vendors and even management software. We also focus on our employees’ health and well-being as much as we do the pets we treat. We would love to hear from you!
