Come join our team of fun-loving small animal doctors in Bend, Oregon where the sun shines over 250 days out of the year! We have an opening for a full-time associate veterinarian at Plateau Veterinary Hospital.
We are a small animal general practice that aims to serve our Central Oregon community. Our goal for our clients is to be able to offer excellent veterinary care at an affordable price for animal parents from all backgrounds. We have a great client base that we strive to educate in order for them to make the best decisions they are able to for their pets. We offer more surgical services than the average clinic, including MMP for CCL injuries, C- sections, splenectomies, gastropexies, gastrostomies/enterotomies, liver lobectomies and a range of mass removals. Proficient surgical skills are a bonus but not required. We often work closely with the local referral hospital on cases, but we do our best to offer an alternative for those who cannot afford a referral. We have high quality anesthetic monitoring equipment, digital radiology, therapeutic laser, electrocautery, ultrasound, and dental equipment. Both owners are full-time veterinarians and are present on a daily basis and enjoy mentoring. Our team works hard, but also knows how to have fun. Bend is an amazing place to live for anyone who enjoys nature and outdoor activities. We have endless hiking, biking, and riding trails, as well as great skiing, snowshoeing and other winter sports. Our mountains get lots of snow, while we enjoy mild to moderate snowfall with mostly sunny days year round here in the high desert. Bend is also a dog and beer loving town, with so many places to take your dog in any weather.
Salary is between $90-120k based on experience. Health, dental, vision, simple IRA with 3% match, PTO, CE allowance, and all licensing fees paid. This is a privately owned practice where your voice is heard when it comes to daily operations and your medical choices.
We are currently open Monday through Friday 9-6 and Saturday 9-4, closed on Sunday with all doctors working rotating Saturdays.
