Bob Dylan's 1964 classic could not be any truer than today in veterinary medicine. Gone are the days of 60-80 hour work weeks in favor of 4 day to part time work. That's what we offer here, a four-day work week! Our practice is a mixed animal, high quality medicine and surgery hospital located just outside of Charlotte, North Carolina. We are 65% Small Animal and 35% Large Animal. Perhaps we're what James Herriot would refer to as a "Country Vet" while at the same time embracing the technology and skills of a specialist.
We are primarily looking for a solid and experienced companion animal veterinarian to add to our staff. For the inexperienced veterinarian, we have great practitioners to mentor you along your path of veterinary medicine. We have a remarkable benefits package and we're good to our staff. We feel salary-wise, that quality veterinary medicine should be appropriately compensated for.
The Charlotte area has a lot to offer, great entertainment, great food, professional sports and the remarkable White-Water Center for those who like to kayak, rock climb and mountain bike. Then again, there are the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains and Asheville just a couple of hours away and the coast on the opposite end of the state, whether that be the scenic Outer Banks or Myrtle Beach, which speaks for itself. We have it all in North Carolina!
