VCA Ridgewood Animal Hospital located in Ridgewood, NJ is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our growing practice!!!

Excellent opportunity to work in an energetic environment with a very positive, well trained staff, serving an affluent community that includes pets as family members.  All of the most modern equipment is available to practice the highest level of medicine and surgery in an expanding practice, including digital x-ray, dental x-ray, laser surgery, therapeutic laser, endoscopy, and digital thermal imaging.  Traditional medicine is enhanced with integrative therapies, including acupuncture and chiropractic. We treat canine, feline, avian and exotic pets, and invite you to explore special interests of your own to add services offered to clients. Emphasis is placed on creating and maintaining a strong staff/client/patient bond, and on educating clients so that they become part of the health care team delivering excellent care to their pets. Advanced surgical experience is a plus but not necessary. Our current veterinary staff provides a congenial professional environment for experienced doctors.

Additional Salary Information: Guaranteed base plus percentage of gross and benefits including 401K retirement plan, medical, dental and vision plans, generous pet discount, vacation, sick, and CE days.

With a strong emphasis on laser technologies, the Ultrasound Guided Endoscopic Diode Laser Ablation (UGELAB) procedure was developed here (See JAVMA, Vol. 240, 1/1/12). All of the latest equipment is provided to practice exemplary medicine, surgery, and patient safety. Extensive in- house training for all non-veterinary staff members is mandatory.  Advanced technologies such as the DIA Education Video system and Welch Allen video otoscopes are used to enhance the client education experience. Doctors are encouraged to develop new skills such as ultrasound using the latest equipment available.
