Southwest Animal Hospital in Jefferson City, Missouri is seeking a full-time Veterinarian to join our amazing team! All experience levels will be considered. We are looking for someone who is passionate, highly motivated, and ambitious to learn about our practice and the services we provide! Our experienced team is more than happy to provide guidance and mentorship.
About our clinic: Southwest Animal Hospital is a full-service small animal hospital that has been offering the best in medical and surgical care to the pets of Cole County since 1971. We treat primarily dogs and cats, but several of our doctors treat exotics and perform limited preventative care on birds. Our hospital is fully equipped with an in-house laboratory, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, surgical laser, and cold laser therapy. We have a trained technician who performs our diagnostic ultrasounds and echocardiograms and our medical director, Dr. Stacey Beddoe also performs echocardiograms. We are paperless, using AVImark for our electronic medical records. We also have boarding and grooming services within our facility.
Our doctors perform a variety of routine and advanced soft tissue surgeries and dentistry in our surgery suite and dentistry area. We refer our orthopedic procedures out, but we do have equipment for TPLO procedures for any candidates interested and experienced in orthopedic surgery. Any candidate interested in surgery (soft tissue or orthopedic) would have their own surgery day. Most importantly, we have phenomenal, experienced support staff who are crucial to the success of patient and client care.
At Southwest Animal Hospital, we have worked very hard to create a highly-motivated, experienced team and are looking for a candidate who will support and embrace our collaborative environment. Our focus is on excellent quality care, preventive medicine, building relationships, education, and positive experiences for our clients and staff.
We can be flexible with scheduling, accommodating a 3- or 4-day work week and rotating Saturdays.
