Larimer Humane Society is seeking veterinarian candidates with a special desire to help shelter animals.  Reporting to our Supervising Veterinarian, our Shelter Veterinarian provides examinations, veterinary care, monitoring and surgery services for shelter animals.  The position additionally serves as backup for our Supervising Veterinarian (managing staff, shelter medicine efforts, surgery program and disease control protocols) in her/his absence.   This position also assists with overseeing the work of contract and relief veterinarians, veterinary technicians and assistants, foster and transfer coordinators and department volunteers as required and in the absence of the Supervising Veterinarian.  The schedule for the position is generally Sunday through Thursday with evening and on-c
