Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic located in Agua Dulce, California is seeking an Equine Associate Veterinarian to join our wonderful team. Our goal is to provide excellent Equine care that our clients have come to expect from our doctors & staff over the years.
We are a four-doctor practice seeking an equine veterinarian who looks forward to working in a team environment, has excellent communication skills and enjoys working on a variety of cases.
Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic is supported by two mobile veterinary units which carry a broad range of equipment and supplies that enable the staff to provide many diagnostic and treatment services on location including x-ray, ultrasound analysis, and specialty farrier services. Our mobile units also feature heat and refrigeration to prevent freezing of medications during the winter and provide safe transport for medicines, vaccines, and tissue and serum samples which require refrigeration. In addition to our normal emergency services for all animals, we provide 24 Hour Emergency Services for large animals.
For the care of both small and large animals, Sweetwater Veterinary Clinic has a microbiology and chemistry lab equipped for the performance of many routine tests and procedures. The clinic also features a well-stocked veterinary pharmacy for the convenience of the staff and clients.
Agua Dulce is located along California State Route 14, halfway between Santa Clarita and Palmdale, and is just 45 miles north of Los Angeles, in the Sierra Pelona Valley region of Southern California. You can enjoy our local wineries, restaurants, hiking trails & enjoy the day exploring Vasquez Rocks natural area. If Los Angeles is more your speed than exploring our many tourist attractions or catching a local sporting event is within an hour’s drive.
