Premier Veterinary Group, a 24-hour specialty and emergency hospital located in Chicago, is seeking motivated, enthusiastic new graduates to join our team for a one-year rotating internship starting in June 2021.

Interns are a valued part of our highly collaborative team of emergency doctors and board-certified specialists, receiving exposure to a diverse caseload while rotating through emergency/critical care, internal medicine, surgery, neurology, cardiology, and anesthesia. We also offer a robust didactic learning component, including weekly topic rounds led by our specialists and experienced ER doctors, and a bi-weekly journal club.

Our focus on mentorship with ample opportunity for primary case management prepares our interns to achieve their goals for the internship year and beyond. Members of recent classes have confidently gone on to residency and specialty internships, as well as careers in emergency medicine and general practice.

Premier Veterinary Group is a member of Ethos Veterinary Health. We are a busy specialty hospital with all of the tools you need to learn and succeed: ultrasound, CT, MRI, endoscopy, laparoscopy, full in-house laboratory, and an in-house blood-banking program. More important, we have a friendly, hard-working team of doctors and highly skilled technicians who support our interns 24/7 during the internship year.

Interns are scheduled five days a week, allowing for appropriate work-life balance and the opportunity to enjoy life in Chicago, one of the greatest cities in the world.
