Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital in Estacada, Oregon is seeking an Associate Veterinarian to join our team of dedicated doctors. We are a rapidly growing two doctor practice looking to add a third due to the growth in our community. Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital has been serving the Estacada and surrounding communities since 1986 with a commitment in providing quality veterinary care throughout the life of a pet. 

Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital is a full-service animal hospital providing comprehensive and holistic medical, surgical, and dental pet healthcare in the rural small town of Estacada, Oregon. This veterinary hospital is located at the base of the Mt. Hood National Forest and bordering the Clackamas River with lush forests and rivers abound, while the urban center of Portland is only 35 miles away. 

The COVID-19 pandemic has changed things for everyone. At Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital, we are no exception - except that rather than pulling back from our community, our clients, and our team, we embraced them. We offer attentive curbside care, and enhanced communication with our patients' families. When members of our staff felt uncomfortable coming to work due to the virus, we made sure they knew their health is of our upmost priority. We were able to maintain revenue so no one needed to be mandatorily furloughed, or laid off. 

We are looking for a skilled Associate Veterinarian with a vibrant personality to join our team full or part time. Eagle Fern Veterinary Hospital is a well-established independently owned small animal hospital. Our entire staff is extremely smart, compassionate, empathetic, fun to work with, and dedicated to their profession. We take pride in our work and focus on individual quality medicine.

Our Facility: 

  • 4 exam rooms; services include diagnostics with in house laboratory, surgery, internal and holistic medicine consult and treatment, dental surgery, digital radiology, laser therapy, and acupuncture. 
  • We are paperlite with Impromed Practice Management Software
  • Open Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00 pm and Saturdays 8:30am - 3:00 pm.

Closed on Sundays.

Hiring bonus and relocation expense reimbursement available. Flexible Scheduling offered. 

  • State Veterinary Board License and must be in good standing for the state in which they intend to be hired, prior to their start date. 
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in small animal medicine, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to professional growth.
  • Licensure in good standing in Oregon
