Houston Cat Hospital sees a wide range of cases, from wellness visits to complex internal medicine cases as well as soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries. In order to help you care for our feline patients, we offer a full in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, and laser surgery. We have a sterile surgery suite, complete with anesthetic monitoring equipment, heat support, IV fluid delivery pump, feline-sized instruments, and specialized lighting. Our dental suite includes digital dental radiographs allowing us to perform dental surgery as well. You will partner with the practice manager in leadership, patient care, staff mentorship and development, and help meet the financial goals of the practice. QualificationsYour must meet the minimum qualifications of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM), Active Texas License or ability to obtain one, DEA License, Leadership Experience, and three years of veterinary experience. Additional consideration will be given to candidates that demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language, and availability for weekend shifts. |
Additional Salary Information: The salary for your position is competitive and open for negotiation. Benefits including Paid Time Off, Health and Ancillary Insurance, Maternity/Paternity leave, moving bonus, and Continuing Education Reimbursement. After review, you will be invited to a phone interview, followed by a tour of the facilities and an in-person interview with the Practice Manager and Medical Director before receiving an offer.
