Fort Valley State University (FVSU) Department of Veterinary Science seeks to fill a full-time, 9-month renewable position within the Veterinary Technology Department. The position is available immediately. Depending upon research background and experience, there may be an opportunity to negotiate conversion to a tenure-track position within three (3) years in rank, subject to university policy. The candidate will provide didactic and clinical instruction in, but not limited to, radiology, surgery/anesthesia, anatomy/physiology, animal husbandry, pharmacology, general hospital/laboratory/biomedical procedures, and large and small animal disease. The ideal candidate will be able to mentor, as well as educate, young adults as they begin their future career in veterinary technology.
Candidate must be licensed or eligible to practice veterinary medicine in the State of Georgia and have a minimum of three years experience in clinical practice.
