Prairie Animal Hospital has been serving our clients for over 30 years and to meet our growing client demand we are looking to add an associate veterinarian to our team. The position is open to new graduate or experienced veteran. We are looking for an individual who is compassionate, professional, driven and yet balanced with the ability to have fun in the work place. As an Associate we offer health and dental insurance, short & long term disability and Continuing Education allotment. Our Hospital: Prairie is large companion animal hospital offering a full surgical suite, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, In-house laboratory, CO2 cutting Laser, Ultrasound, Cold Laser Therapy, Onsite pharmacy and Boarding. We have a wonderful staff to support however you choose to practice and to give aid when needed. We offer everything from routine spays to specialized surgeries. We provide to your knowledge and comfort level with scheduling and we are always willing to jump in and help each other out. We are located 40 min away from Spokane Pet Emergency and Referral Services, seven miles away from Post Falls Emergency Pet Clinic and two hours driving time to Washington State Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Our Town: Coeur d’Alene is a small town with a big atmosphere. We are located in North Idaho amidst the beautiful Lake Coeur d’Alene Lake and 70 surrounding lakes! Minutes away from several State and Federal parks and 4 ski areas. Manages time efficiently and appropriately Model professional and courteous manner with clients and staff Commitment to ongoing educational growth About Your Responsibilities: Build relations with clients and patients Provide patients with highest standard of care from the exam room to the surgery room Proper medical documentation of care offered or performed Perform proper physical examination/diagnostic/medical/surgical/dental and referrals Three to four days per week of full time work commitment
