The owner veterinarian is Fear Free certified and the team members are trained in free free techniques. We practice a team approach to be able to provide the best care possible. Our team includes the practice owner, practice manager, client and patient care providers, pet owner, and patient. |
Applicant must be comfortable working with both dogs and cats. Applicant must possess the following skills: venipuncture for blood draws and catheter placement, perform basic physical exam, induce anesthesia, intubate patient, monitor anesthesia utilizing a mutiparameter monitor as well as manual monitoring of patient and have ability to understand the values gathered, administer vaccinations and subcutaneous fluids, express anal glands, trim nails.
Applicant will be expected to be an exam room assistant as well. They must be able to collect appropriate history from the client, assist in pet restraint, assist with diagnostics and treatments, and be able to give clear and concise instructions to clients regarding medications and treatments prescribed by the doctor.
In addition to the above duties, our employees are cross trained to be able to answer the phone, schedule appointments, check clients in and out, and perform follow up calls to clients. Additional duties may include surgical and dental pack and prep, stocking supplies, inventory management, and cleaning duties.
