Are you looking for a collaborative environment where you will develop long term and lasting relationships with staff and clients? |
We are a busy, growing, modern, progressive, well-equipped and well-staffed mixed animal practice with an opening for a full-time experienced small animal veterinarian. We would also consider an applicant interested in a mix of small animal and large animal/equine so long as the small animal skills and interest is high. Practice is currently 60% dog/cat, 37% equine, and 3% other large animal (mostly small ruminants and camelids). We pride ourselves on practicing very high quality medicine, surgery, and dentistry, with a strong emphasis on preventive and wellness care, client communications and developing lasting relationships with our clients and patients.
Conifer is a gorgeous community located in the foothills just west of Denver. We have amazing high-end clientele, great school districts, and excellent quality of life, however, we are also just minutes from all of the amenities of Denver and just over an hour from the ski resorts in Summit County.
This practice has all the toys and technology to practice modern progressive high-end care, including computerized records, wellness plans, digital x-ray (x2), digital dental x-ray, digital ultrasound, In-house lab, Class 4 therapeutic laser, fluid pumps, anesthetic monitors, oxygen cage, ESWT, video endoscope, high speed dental unit for small animal, motorized dentistry for large animal, and much more. We are also well staffed with an incredible support staff including practice manager, receptionists, vet assistants, kennel staff and CVTS.
Our caseload is quite varied as we do see large animal cases including horses, goats, camelids and pot belly pigs in addition to dogs/cats, which keeps days fun, interesting and challenging, but we are seeking an associate dedicated to small animal patients (unless interest exists for other species).
Generous compensation and benefits package. Flexible work schedule.
Potential exists for practice purchase or buy-in.
Onsite housing available and can be negotiated short term or long term as part of a compensation package if desired.
