The Humane Society of Clarksville-Montgomery County (HSCMC) is a shelter-free non-profit organization specializing in preventive programs, primarily low-cost spay- neuter services, to reduce suffering and euthanasia in our community. We are members of and follow protocols set by the ASPCA/Humane Alliance Mentorship Program, which provides a well-proven blueprint for offering high quality spay-neuter services in a high volume setting. We are searching for a veterinarian that thrives in a high-paced environment and wants to be part of a fun, professional, hardworking team. Our veterinarian candidate should:
* Be agreeable to following ASPCA/Humane Alliance high volume spay-neuter clinic protocols, which are already implemented at our clinic, with an eventual goal to be able to perform upwards of 30-35 spay and neuter surgeries each day.
* Be able to attend a week long training session with the clinic team at the Humane Alliance training facility located in Asheville, NC at our expense.
* Be comfortable working as the only veterinarian with the support of 3-5 veterinary technicians/assistants.
* Have or apply for Tennessee license to practice veterinary medicine
We are open to meeting with candidates who want to work full-time (4 days per week, Monday-Thursday), part-time (2-3 days per week), or long-term relief work on committed days. Full-time employees are eligible for benefits including paid time off, paid holidays, and no evenings or weekends. Salary based on experience. CE credits and other professional fees may be negotiable.
